MÉLOVIN (Kostiantyn Bocharov): concerts, schedule and tickets
From the TicketsBox editorial team
MÉLOVIN concert tickets are in the catalogue above. Official prices, no markups. The schedule updates whenever organisers add new dates. The headline event of the 2026 season in Kyiv is the solo concert on 15 May at Feels Garden, with tickets starting at 800 UAH. A separate story this year is the announced farewell theatrical performance in December, which the artist is preparing as a final piece of work.
Biography
His passport name is Kostiantyn Mykolaiovych Bocharov. Onstage he works as MÉLOVIN, with the name written in capitals across all his catalogues. The stage name itself came from two sources. First, the holiday Halloween. Second, the British fashion designer Alexander McQueen, who has been and still remains a separate visual reference point for him. The genre is electro-pop, played with a theatrical approach to staging and a tenor voice. Kostiantyn was born on 11 April 1997 in Odesa.
The Bocharov family was not artistic. His father drove a car for a living, his mother worked as an accountant. The first contact with music came at the age of four. His grandmother gave him a music box that played Beethoven's Für Elise. He still mentions that object as the starting point. At school he sang in the choir and ran his own concerts for classmates. In 2009 he joined the Odesa folk theatre Samotsvity. He tried music school but dropped it. Theatre school he finished. Among his mentors there was Natalia Buzko from the Maski-Show comedy troupe.
The stage name and concept emerged at sixteen. That was 2013. The same year Bocharov founded Big House Melovin, a creative family of fans and a team that has stayed with the artist ever since. In September 2015 he enrolled at the Kyiv Glier Music Institute. The same year he passed the casting for X-Factor on his fourth attempt. The first three were unsuccessful. On the fourth try his grandmother convinced him to give it one more go. The intuition paid off.
The route to the stage: X-Factor and Eurovision
The sixth season of X-Factor on STB. Kostiantyn ended up on the team of Ihor Kondratyuk. At the casting he performed Bez Boyu by Okean Elzy. Across the entire season he never landed in the elimination list. In the final he sang a duet with Jamala. The winner was Melovin. That was 2015 and the artist was eighteen.
In 2016 the first single Ne Odynokaya came out officially. The title was later criticised, but the track served as a starting point. From there a run of work began in the electro-pop concept with theatrical delivery: the recognisable white lens in one eye, costumes in the spirit of McQueen and Halloween, music videos with horror elements. The image was built up systematically and recognisably.
Eurovision 2017 and 2018: two attempts
2017. The first national selection. Melovin entered with the English-language track Wonder. He reached the final on the back of public support and pulled in 60, 000 viewer votes, more than any other contestant. But the jury placed him lower. The result was third place and a loss. The first try did not work out.
2018. The second attempt. This time the artist came in with Under The Ladder, a song written by American author Mike Ryals. At the national selection MÉLOVIN scored 5 out of 6 possible jury points and 6 from viewers. He won. On 24 February 2018 it became official: Ukraine at the 63rd Eurovision in Portugal would be represented by Melovin.
Lisbon, 10 May. He performed in the second semi-final at the closing slot of the show. In the grand final the result split this way: 199 points from viewers (7th place in the public vote), but only 11 points from the jury. The combined total put him at 17th out of 26. A separate marker of that performance: the Black Gas perfume, which the artist released on the eve of the semi-final specifically for this contest.
Discography
Across nearly ten years of solo work Melovin has put out two studio albums, more than twenty singles and a dozen music videos. He works mostly in English, with a smaller layer of Ukrainian-language tracks.
Studio albums
| Album | Year | Highlights |
|---|---|---|
| Face To Face | 2018 | Debut, mostly English-language, includes Under The Ladder |
| Octopus | 2019 | Second studio release, conceptual electro-pop |
Key songs
From the first wave came Ne Odynokaya (2016, the debut single). 2017 brought Wonder from the first national selection. 2018 added the contest entry Under The Ladder plus Ladder, That's Your Role, Z Toboiu Zi Mnoiu I Hodi, Chudova Myt. Set apart is Hooligan, written by a British author who had previously worked with Amy Winehouse. Among the live favourites: Play This Life, Ya Horyu Ne Zhoraiu. The Ukrainian-language layer in the repertoire keeps growing, especially after 2022.
Concert activity
A MÉLOVIN concert is not a hits playlist. It is a theatrical show. Costumes, the lens in the eye, pyrotechnics, video walls, a separate lighting concept. The sound is live. The vocal is tenor, and the instrument the artist often sits behind onstage is the piano. A solo show usually runs around an hour and a half to two hours. Between blocks Melovin talks to the audience directly, and during the wartime period this part of the show has become noticeably more personal.
The standout date in 2026 is Kyiv, Feels Garden, 15 May. Open-air format, sales start at 800 UAH, with tickets sorted by seating category in the catalogue. For anyone who has been following the artist for a while, this concert reads as significant: one of the few solo shows of the season in the full-show format. Other potential dates can be checked in the catalogue of concerts in Kyiv and other regions.
Beyond solo shows, in 2021 MÉLOVIN took part in the second season of the hyper-show Maska on the Ukraine channel. He performed in a character costume, with the identity revealed only in the final. He won. A separate television chapter of the career, which brought a new audience to the artist.
What to expect at the show
Unlike the pop sets of most contemporary performers, the Melovin format sits closer to theatre. The stage is built as the space of a story rather than a backdrop for songs. The setlist runs through both the contest-era hits (Under The Ladder, Wonder, Hooligan) and concert pieces written specifically for live work. The artist openly reworks parts of the repertoire from one show to the next, adding new arrangements. The result is low repeatability, even for those who have caught several shows in a row.
Visually the trademarks include the white lens in one eye, costumes with 1980s and McQueen-era elements, and pyrotechnics. In March 2026 one of the performances had a pyrotechnics incident on a keyboard instrument, after which the artist briefly held his hand in the sparks. The image is intentional, risky, recognisable.
The current period and service in the State Border Guard
On 9 April 2025 Kostiantyn signed the document of military oath. He announced the mobilisation publicly on 6 July 2025, directly from the stage of his own solo concert, where the musicians of the Academic Song and Dance Ensemble of the State Border Guard Service of Ukraine were accompanying him. The artist also said he was now part of that ensemble. His main activity reoriented toward concerts for the military and charity drives in support of the front line.
In February 2026 MÉLOVIN announced his intention to wrap up the solo career by the end of the year. According to him, December 2026 will host a farewell theatrical performance, prepared with his team as the final note of the project. A separate context is a series of incidents earlier in 2026 in which radical groups disrupted concerts in regional centres (Rivne, Lutsk), after which the tour at those locations was cancelled for safety reasons. The Kyiv date on 15 May was not affected: sales are running normally.
Awards and recognition
Melovin holds fewer awards than the long-running pop names of the Ukrainian scene, but each of the ones he has comes with a clear connection to a specific stage of the career.

Then there is the fan base. The Melovinators, as the followers call themselves, have been writing fanfiction systematically since 2018. On one of the largest sites for that genre there are over three hundred published works featuring the artist as a character. The team Telegram channel runs above 100, 000 subscribers. Most of the audience work Melovin handles personally, without intermediaries.
